Your browser stores copies of website files (the cache) to load pages faster. Sometimes these files get outdated or corrupted, causing pages to load incorrectly. Clearing the cache often fixes the problem.

Google Chrome

  1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete (Windows) or Command + Shift + Delete (Mac).
  2. Choose a time range.
  3. Tick "Cached images and files".
  4. Click Delete data.

Safari (Mac)

  1. Go to Safari → Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data, or use the Develop menu's empty caches option if enabled.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete.
  2. Tick "Cached images and files" and clear.

Firefox

  1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete (or Command on Mac).
  2. Select "Cache" and clear.

On your phone

  • iPhone Safari: Settings → Apps → Safari → Clear History and Website Data.
  • Android Chrome: Chrome menu → Delete browsing data → Cached images and files.

Menu names change between versions, so look for "Privacy" or "Clear browsing data" if your screen looks different.
