Christmas crafts keep kids busy, spark creativity and make lovely decorations or gifts. These ideas use simple materials you probably already have.

Decorations

  • Paper snowflakes: fold and cut paper into unique designs.

Easy salt doughMix 1 cup flour, ½ cup salt and about ½ cup water. Shape, make a hole for hanging, and bake at a low temperature until hard.

  • Use washable paints and glue sticks.
  • Set out only the supplies needed for one craft at a time.
